Concentrate packaging is usually a system
Extract projects can involve a primary jar or other compatible container plus labels, a pouch, carton, insert or other secondary components. Small dimensional changes can affect the entire pack, so confirm the primary component before finalizing printed outer packaging.
Start with product compatibility
Concentrates vary in viscosity and chemistry. Material, liner, seal and dispensing components should be selected for the actual product and may require compatibility testing before a commercial run.
Canadian cannabis requirements
Health Canada’s current packaging guide states that cannabis products generally require a child-resistant immediate container except cannabis plants and seeds, and product-class requirements can differ. The licence holder remains responsible for the final regulated configuration. See our compliant cannabis packaging guide.
